You can still register during packet pick up times on Friday, Nov. 14, at Fleet Feet in Franklin, TN (330 Franklin Rd.) from 11 a.m – 7 p.m.

OR register on race day, Sat. Nov. 15, starting at 6 a.m.


FiftyForward is proud to present the 4th Annual Viva la Diva Run on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Nissan North America campus in Cool Springs. This cross-generational event celebrates and supports health, wellness and safety programs for girls and women of all ages. We encourage men and boys to run in support of the women in their lives!

  • Viva la Diva features USTAF certified and chip-timed 5K and 10K courses.
  • The Viva la Diva 10K is now part of the Nashville Striders Grand Prix Series.


New Changes This Year Include…

  • 10 mile race has been changed to a 10K race;
  • Runners may register for both the 5k and 10k for a total distance of 9.3 miles;
  • Men and boys are eligible for all award categories including top finisher, age awards and masters awards;
  • Best Dressed Diva and Dude Costume Contest–Great Prizes from Dillard’s of Cool Springs!

Packet Pickup

NEW LOCATION! This year’s packet pickup is at Fleet Feet Sports in Brentwood. Pre-registered participants may pick up packets at Fleet Feet Sports, 330 Franklin Rd. Brentwood, TN 37027, on Friday, November 14 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Participants may also register at Fleet Feet during packet pickup hours. Packets may also be picked up on race day beginning at 6 a.m.
All pre-registered participants will receive a short-sleeve “technical” shirt (participants registering for both the 5K and 10K races will receive one tech tee).

Join a Team!

viva mockupWhen registering, please be sure to indicate your team.  (You don’t have to join a team to register.)  If you are the team captain, you will be asked to create and input your team name during the registration process.  Event materials (fliers, posters) will be available to post in your office, campus, cafeteria, break room and other high traffic areas so you can recruit and build your team.

Individual award categories (men are included in all categories this year) include; Top Finishers, Masters and Age Groups. Team Awards are presented to Largest Corporate Team, Fastest Corporate Team, Largest Community Team and Fastest Community Team.


Best Dressed Diva and Dude Contest!

judges plus ac resizedWe are putting the finishing touches on our Best Dressed Diva and Dude Costume Contest held Race Day morning!
Every year, runners and walkers of all ages flock to participate in this event, donning their best Diva finery—tiaras, tutus, boas, glitter —and finishing their run/walk amidst applause for their accomplishments and costume choices. This year, Viva la Diva officially celebrates this practice by featuring a Best Dressed Diva and Dude Costume Contest to be judged by four of Nashville’s fashion industry icons: Connie Cathcart- Richardson, Nashville Fashion Week co-founder and managing partner, Mila Grigg, Moda Image and Brand Consulting, Patricia Apple, Couture for a Cause and designer/tailor, Eric Adler, of Eric Adler Clothing. Dillard’s of Cool Springs will be providing great prizes for the Viva la Diva Best Dressed Diva and Dude competition.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are dozens of volunteer opportunities with Viva la Diva! You can staff a water station, be part of a the registration team, cheer on runner as you direct them on their way. To see what spots are open, please sign up HERE.

Proceeds to Benefit FiftyForward Health and Wellness Programs

FiftyForward is producing the event, with proceeds benefiting its health and wellness programs for older adults (50+). In addition, funds raised from Viva la Diva will be used to help older adults access community resources they need to remain living independently. These FiftyForward services and programs include Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Services, Victory over Crime, Conservatorship and Care Management.
